The background story to Viessmann
The company set up in Germany in 1917 by Johann Viessmann who initially
concentrated on heating engineering, moving into the production of deep
freezing and refrigeration in 1972. It has gone from strength to strength
and entered the millennium with over three hundred employees.
Viessmann
are the market leaders in coldstore refrigeration. The company, now publicly
owned, owes its clear focus on quality and innovation to its founder, Dr
Hans Viessmann who passed away in 2002.
During the past three decades Viessmann have manufactured over 200,000 coldrooms.
